Results day!!

Anxious is quite an understatement when I think about recieving my exam results, and with just 9 days to go it's safe to say I'm extremely nervous.
Reflecting back to my exams, it seems quite silly really. All that pressure, all the pieces of course work, all them controlled assessment hours and them 24 exams all added up and lay in one small envelope, that will potentially determine my life. Seems like a lot of pressure.

I disagree strongly with exams and the reason for this is because I believe that there are two types of students. Course work students or exam students. I believe that people are either good under the intense pressure of exams and perform perfectly or build up brilliant pieces of work over a longer period of time.  Unfortunately for me, I'm a course work kind of student and I suffered with bad anxiety in my exams and I think it's safe to estimate that my grades suffered from that. I am simply relying on hope which might not be enough.

I'm trying to focus positively and keep telling myself that if I do not do as well as I'd hoped, it's not the end of the world. Although your GCSE's are extremely important and beneficial to your future, they do not determine the way you have to live your life and the quality that it will be.

Pray for me...
